Hello Steve !
Happy Christmas !
Is Ramon from Puerto Rico, How are you?
I'm writing to let you know that I got some pictures of peacock
bass I caught just yesterday, remember that the average weight
of the peacock bass kind that live in our lakes are from 1 pound
to 2.5 pounds, but here are some biggest ones up to 8 pounds,
yesterday I caught, a good one, a 5 pounder, a 2.5 pounder,3 two
pounders, and 2 one and a half pounders, and released 24 under
12 inches long (more or less one pounders, average fish ) for a
total of 38 pounds of the greatest fresh water fighters in the
whole world, all with your jigs, this time I didn't use the 1/8
oz one that you made for me. I used the
chartreuse and white patterns in 1/4 oz. because the
fish were a little deeper and inactive and I needed the bucktail
to get deeper running through the strike zone.Follow

I let you know that yesterday I
received good news from the club president, I won the annual
circuit tournament, to win this circuit you have to win a
major part of the 14 monthly tournaments, and I won the last 7
consecutive of them since august to December, and 80 % of the
time I used your bucktail jigs, whoa, I will tell you the
story with details later.
I won the circuit overall first
place, My category (beginners)
first place, My son won his
category (child's), and we together won the father and son
cup, 4 first places. What you think ? A great year? jejeje,
all this thanks to a new addition to our lure arsenal, your
jigs. I will send you photos of the award party with me and my
son receiving the trophies, this will be on January 21 of
2006.
